Terms of Service
Last updated: September 6, 2026
These Terms of Service ("Terms") are a binding agreement between you and Swyft Labs ("Swyft Labs," "we," "us," or "our") concerning your access to and use of Serve, including its command-line client, dashboard, APIs, reverse-tunnel relay, public links, and related services (collectively, the "Service"). By creating an account, authorizing a device, creating a link, or using any part of the Service, you agree to these Terms, our Privacy Policy, and our Acceptable Use Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
If you accept these Terms for a company, organization, or other entity, you represent that you have authority to bind it. In that case, "you" includes that entity and its authorized users, and you are responsible for their compliance.
1. Eligibility and Account Authority
- You must be legally capable of entering a binding contract.
- You may not use the Service if applicable law or sanctions prohibit you from doing so.
- You must provide accurate information and keep your account information current.
- You may create only one account for yourself unless we authorize otherwise.
- You are responsible for all activity under your account and authorized devices, including activity by people you permit to use them.
- You must protect account credentials, private keys, activation codes, link URLs, protection secrets, and API tokens, and notify us promptly of suspected compromise.
2. The Service
Serve creates public URLs in two modes. A live link forwards HTTP and supported WebSocket traffic to a local server through a reverse tunnel; anyone who obtains the link may be able to reach the local server behind it. A published link serves a static artifact you explicitly upload to Serve-managed storage, so it remains available without your machine until you unpublish or replace it. A link may be public unless you enable an available protection feature. You are solely responsible for deciding what to expose or publish, configuring the local server or the content you publish, authenticating your own viewers, and preventing unintended access.
Accounts may own an unlimited number of links, subject to plan-specific limits on simultaneous live tunnels, storage, transfer, and publish rate. Links are not recycled or replaced to make room for new activity; starting more tunnels than a plan allows is refused. Password protection and named subdomains are available on plans that include them. Names, quotas, features, and limits may change by plan or environment and are not guaranteed unless separately stated in a written order or plan description.
Protection features, viewer grants, expiry timers, and other access controls are convenience features, not a guarantee of confidentiality or availability. You must test them for your use case and keep your application-level access controls in place.
3. Alpha Service and Changes
The Service may be experimental, invite-only, in alpha, or provided without charge. We may modify, suspend, limit, or discontinue any feature, hostname, plan, link, quota, protocol, or endpoint at any time. Deployments, outages, maintenance, security actions, capacity limits, account changes, or plan-limit enforcement may interrupt or terminate tunnels. We do not promise uptime, bandwidth, latency, compatibility, data preservation, or a particular URL.
4. Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
You must comply with the Acceptable Use Policy and all applicable laws and third-party rights. Without limiting that policy, you may not:
- use the Service for unlawful, fraudulent, deceptive, threatening, defamatory, abusive, or infringing activity;
- host phishing, credential theft, malware, ransomware, exploits, botnets, open proxies, Tor exit services, spam, or bulk unsolicited communications;
- expose personal data, payment data, health data, credentials, secrets, or regulated information without the required authorization and safeguards;
- probe, scan, attack, overload, interfere with, reverse engineer, or bypass security or rate limits of the Service or another system;
- misrepresent your identity, impersonate another person or service, claim a name you do not control, or evade a suspension or quota;
- use automated means that create unreasonable load or consume capacity disproportionate to normal use;
- resell, sublicense, lease, share, or provide the Service as a managed service without our written permission;
- use the Service to operate a service where failure, delay, or unauthorized access could cause death, bodily injury, property damage, or a safety-critical failure; or
- help anyone else do any of the foregoing.
5. Your Content and Traffic
You retain ownership of content, code, data, requests, responses, and other materials that you send through the Service ("Your Content"). You grant Swyft Labs a limited, worldwide, non-exclusive license to host, copy, transmit, cache, process, and display Your Content only as necessary to provide, secure, troubleshoot, maintain, and improve the Service, enforce these Terms, respond to legal process, and prevent abuse. This license ends when the relevant processing ends, except for residual copies in backups, audit records, or materials preserved as permitted by the Privacy Policy or law. We do not claim ownership of Your Content.
You represent and warrant that you have all rights, permissions, notices, and consents needed for Your Content and for us to process it as described here. You are responsible for backups, security, accuracy, legality, and consequences of Your Content and of activity by people who access your links. We do not pre-screen or continuously monitor tunnel traffic, but may act on credible reports or signals and may remove, block, or restrict access.
6. Public Links and Viewer Access
A public link is an invitation to anyone who obtains or discovers its URL. Search engines, scanners, link previews, browser referrers, and third-party systems may reveal or request it. Do not rely on an unguessable URL as an authentication mechanism. You are responsible for all viewers, credentials, content, and requests reaching your local server through a link.
7. Polar.sh and Third-Party Services
If you purchase a subscription, purchases are processed by Polar.sh as Merchant of Record. Polar.sh controls its account, payment, and platform services under its own terms of service and privacy policy (see Polar.sh's buyer terms and privacy policy). We are not responsible for Polar.sh outages, entitlement decisions, account restrictions, or changes to Polar.sh APIs. Other third-party services, infrastructure, open-source components, and links are also subject to their own terms; we do not endorse or control them.
8. Fees, Plans, and Taxes
The Service may include free, promotional, alpha, or paid features. Plan limits, eligibility, quotas, pricing, taxes, renewal, refunds, and payment terms will be shown at the time of purchase or in a separate order, and purchases are made through Polar.sh as Merchant of Record. Unless required by law or expressly stated, fees are non-refundable. We may suspend paid features for non-payment or fraud. Polar.sh subscriptions and benefits are governed by Polar.sh and are not a fee paid to us through the Service unless we expressly say otherwise.
9. Intellectual Property and Feedback
The Service, software, documentation, branding, domains, designs, and technology other than Your Content are owned by Swyft Labs or its licensors and are protected by intellectual-property laws. Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, non-sublicensable license to use the Service and any Serve client we provide. No rights are granted by implication. You may not copy, sell, distribute, modify, create derivative works from, decompile, disassemble, or reverse engineer the Service except to the extent a restriction is prohibited by law.
If you provide suggestions, ideas, bug reports, or other feedback, you grant us a perpetual, irrevocable, worldwide, royalty-free right to use and incorporate it without attribution or compensation. Feedback does not make us your agent or create a confidentiality obligation.
10. Suspension and Termination
You may stop using the Service and request account deletion by contacting serve@servelink.cc. We may suspend, restrict, disable, or terminate an account, device, link, token, or feature immediately and without prior notice where reasonably necessary for a breach, abuse, security risk, legal requirement, fraud, non-payment, capacity protection, or protection of users or the Service. A suspension may drop live tunnels and prevent new registrations. We may also discontinue the Service or delete data as described in the Privacy Policy.
On termination, your license ends and you must stop using the Service. Terms that by their nature should survive termination survive, including ownership, content responsibility, indemnification, disclaimers, liability limits, dispute provisions, and interpretation rules.
11. Disclaimers
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, THE SERVICE IS PROVIDED "AS IS," "AS AVAILABLE," AND "WITH ALL FAULTS." SWYFT LABS DISCLAIMS ALL EXPRESS, IMPLIED, AND STATUTORY WARRANTIES, INCLUDING WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, TITLE, NON-INFRINGEMENT, QUIET ENJOYMENT, SECURITY, ACCURACY, RELIABILITY, AVAILABILITY, AND THAT THE SERVICE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, ERROR-FREE, PRIVATE, OR SUITABLE FOR YOUR REQUIREMENTS.
We do not warrant that traffic will be delivered, that a link will remain available or private, that the Service will preserve data or headers, that protection features will stop every unauthorized viewer, or that defects will be corrected. You are responsible for application-level encryption, authentication, backups, monitoring, and business-continuity controls.
12. Limitation of Liability
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SWYFT LABS AND ITS OWNERS, OFFICERS, EMPLOYEES, CONTRACTORS, LICENSORS, AND PROVIDERS WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES; LOSS OF PROFITS, REVENUE, GOODWILL, BUSINESS, DATA, OR EXPECTED SAVINGS; COST OF SUBSTITUTE SERVICES; OR DAMAGE ARISING FROM CONTENT, UNAUTHORIZED ACCESS, INTERRUPTION, SECURITY INCIDENT, OR LOSS OF A LINK, EVEN IF ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY. TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR ALL CLAIMS RELATING TO THE SERVICE OR THESE TERMS WILL NOT EXCEED THE GREATER OF (A) US$100 OR (B) THE AMOUNTS YOU PAID TO SWYFT LABS FOR THE SERVICE IN THE 12 MONTHS BEFORE THE EVENT GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.
These exclusions and limits do not apply to liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including certain fraud, willful misconduct, death, personal injury, or statutory rights. Some jurisdictions do not allow every limitation, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
13. Indemnification
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you will defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Swyft Labs and its affiliates, officers, employees, contractors, licensors, and providers from claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from or related to Your Content, your links or traffic, your breach of these Terms or the Acceptable Use Policy, your violation of law or third-party rights, or your use of the Service. We may assume exclusive control of a matter subject to indemnification, and you will reasonably cooperate. You may not settle a claim that admits fault or imposes an obligation on us without our written consent.
14. Notices, Disputes, and Governing Law
We may provide notices through the dashboard, the Service, or the email address associated with your account. You may send legal notices to serve@servelink.cc. Before filing a formal claim, you agree to contact us and provide a reasonable description of the dispute and requested resolution.
Unless applicable law requires otherwise, these Terms and disputes relating to the Service are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction where Swyft Labs has its principal place of business, without regard to conflict-of-law rules, and the parties consent to the personal jurisdiction of the courts located there. Nothing prevents either party from seeking urgent injunctive or equitable relief in a court with jurisdiction.
15. General Terms
- These Terms, the Privacy Policy, the Acceptable Use Policy, and any incorporated plan or order are the entire agreement about the Service.
- If a provision is unenforceable, it will be modified to the minimum extent necessary and the rest will remain effective.
- Our failure to enforce a provision is not a waiver of future enforcement.
- You may not assign these Terms without our written consent. We may assign them in connection with a merger, acquisition, reorganization, or sale of assets.
- The parties are independent contractors. These Terms do not create a partnership, agency, fiduciary, employment, or franchise relationship.
- Neither party is liable for delay or failure caused by events beyond reasonable control, including outages, attacks, provider failures, disasters, war, labor disputes, or government action.
- Electronic records and communications satisfy writing requirements to the extent permitted by law.
- Headings are for convenience and do not alter meaning. "Including" means "including without limitation."
16. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms by posting a revised version with a new "Last updated" date. For material changes, we will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required. If you continue using the Service after the effective date, the revised Terms apply. If you do not agree, stop using the Service and contact us about account closure.
17. Contact
Questions, legal notices, security reports, and account requests may be sent to serve@servelink.cc. Abuse reports and takedown requests go to abuse@servelink.cc.
